Dematting

$1/minute, in addition to the groom

Includes:

Minor dematting will be performed and charged at $1/minute, but extensive matting will result in your pet being shaved off.

Note:

Mats cause pain and discomfort, can lead to the development of hotspots, bruising and skin irritation  Severe matting can even change a dog's demeanor, ability to move normally, ability to thermoregulate normally and appetite. It can also conceal the presence of parasites, such as ticks and fleas, old wounds and injuries.

Removing such matting puts the groomer at risk of causing accidental harm to your pet and causes your pet a lot of pain and distress, creating a negative and risky grooming environment.
