Hi there, my name is Gaenor. I am happily married to Rob and we have one very energetic young son, Kian. We are originally from South Africa, but made the decision to immigrate to New Zealand in 2017. New Zealand is now our home.

 

I have worked with animals half my life, qualifying as a Veterinary Nurse in 1994, from Onderstepoort, University of Pretoria. Following my studies I worked as a Vet Nurse in South Africa, the UK and California. Upon arriving in NZ I worked in a customer service position at Shoof, a Farm and Veterinary supply company in Cambridge, where I learned a lot. I, however, found myself wanting to get back to working with animals and my hands. 

 

Grooming seemed to be the logical next step, so I completed a grooming course and spent two years upskilling with a Master Groomer, who was kind enough to allow me to learn from her valuable knowledge. I gained a wealth of experience and have not looked back since.

I am so pleased to be running my own grooming business in Richmond and look forward to meeting new people and their four legged companions.  We love it here in sunny Nelson and I thoroughly enjoy what I do...what a blessing!
